Course content
1.-2. dramaturgical choice of the title / theme, analysis of the text and its adaptation, creation of the script / dramatisation, dramaturgical and directorial concept of the chosen text 3-4. visual and sound design of the production (including work with lighting), division of creative teams - acting (musical), production (technical), work in groups according to the focus 5-6. actual staging and realisation The specific form of the final output will be determined according to the number and composition of those interested in the subject. The focus of the course is to understand the process of creating a production with all the skills involved, to acquire practical skills and to link theoretical knowledge with theatre practice.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to simulate in a concentrated form the process of creating a theatre production with a presentation to an audience. Students will gain an elementary insight into the various theatre, production and technical professions and acquire practical skills, including improvisation and finding alternative solutions to possible cultural constraints. Completion of the course will lead to a desirable combination of theoretical knowledge and theatrical practice, and to a search for the possibilities of realising the stage form.
Students will acquire practical skills in stagecraft and gain an elementary insight into the various professions of the theatre practitioner. They will gain the ability to make decisions in a collaborative team environment and to apply dramaturgical and creative skills. You will become familiar with the different stages of the production process - from the idea, through the dramaturgical selection and staging, to the production, presentation and promotion of the project. They will be able to apply theoretical knowledge to theatrical practice and, through practical experience, acquire the necessary skills for objective reflection on theatrical production.

Requires active class participation, completion of assigned tasks in and out of class, individual creativity, group cooperation.
