Course content
|
This code is intended for an excursion to Menteatrál: festival of theaters working with people with mental disabilities (July 26-28, 2024, TBC) and/or Jiráskův Hronov: international amateur theater festival (August 2-10, 2024) . The excursion is guaranteed by Martin Bernátek and Eliška Kubartová. Expect to sleep in a tent and with reduced comfort. The exact schedule will be published only after the publication of the festival program. In case of questions, write to Martin Bernátek.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with current events in theater culture and theatrology by means of domestic and foreign excursions. Excursions are mainly focused on visiting performances, but also exhibitions, special lectures and conferences.
The student gets to know the current theater and performance culture.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Student performance
Adherence to the UP Study and Examination Regulations, the ability to empathize and cooperate in a group, especially when traveling together; the ability to overcome obstacles and endure a more demanding journey, especially at night. The student ends the course with a written reflection of the field trip in the scope of 2 standard pages sent by dr. Bernátek.
