Course content
Subject consists of several lectures delivered by two young researchers: Alexandra Ksenofontova from Freie Universität Berlin published a book The Modernist Screenplay, which explores the film screenplay as a genre of modernist literature. It connects the history of screenwriting for silent film to the history of literary modernism in France, Germany, and Russia. Lectures: 26 October, 2 November, 9 November Patrik Tamás Mravik is a graduate student of the History and Cultural Heritage MA programme of Eötvös Loránd University. His doctoral research, conducted in ELTE Atelier Department of Interdisciplinary History, focuses on the history of early Kádár-era fiction films and the connections between ideology and storytelling.
