Course content
|
Main themes: the status of Islamic religious communities in the state, issues of places of cult, spiritual services, provision of halal food, marriage and family, education and burial grounds, public institutions - all with an emphasis on the legal situation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia together with necessary excursions to the Federal Republic of Germany and to Austria.

Learning outcomes
|
Deepened introduction to Islam especially in the European context from the point of view of secular and Christian society and their legal systems on Islam.
The student is able to deeper orientation on the position of Islam, especially in Euro-American space, based on more thorough knowledge and preventing easy falling into extreme attitudes.

|
Dialog, Seminar Work, Written exam
Completion of a written test or elaboration of a seminar paper and its reflection with the teacher.
