Basic knowledge of growth and development of woody plants; lesser-known fruit species; methods of generative (stratification and vernalization) and vegetative (homologous and heterologous transplantation) propagation; arborist pruning, conservation pruning and pruning of fruit trees. Trees in the landscape - ecology and importance of trees in the ecosystem Growth and development of woody plants - introduction to the issue, morphological structure - basic concepts Propagation of woody plants - methods of generative (stratification and vernalization) and vegetative (homologous and heterologous transplantation) propagation Planting and care of fruit trees Pruning of trunk shapes of fruit trees - educational, maintenance, rejuvenation, health Pome fruit species - environmental requirements and cultivated varieties Pome fruit species - environmental requirements and cultivated varieties Lesser-known fruit species - environmental requirements, diseases and pests
