Advanced study of biblical Hebrew with special focus on: a) syntax of prosaic texts; b) characteristic features of Hebrew poetry. The lecture will be based on cursoric reading of the masoretic text in Hebrew, in the extent of 5 chapters of prose and 5 chapters of poetry.
