Learning outcomes
The history of the development of the canon of the New Testament. The transmission and preservation of the text of the New Testament. Introduction to the individual gospels of the New Testament (circumstances of their formation, their literary and theological character). Political and religious background of the period of the New Testament.
Students will acquire basic knowledge about the content, text and formation the New Testament. The student will gain familiarity both on the New Testament as a unit and on its constituent books, particulary on gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.

Oral exam, Written exam

Active participation in class. Completion of final test (70% = passing).
