Learning outcomes
|
To learn generally specific features of the New Testament letters, which are related to their interpretation, and to become acquainted particularly with the running and systematic exegesis of selected New Testament letters or their parts.
Understanding the problems of interpretation of the New Testament letters and the ability to use the commentaries on New Testament letters critically.

Prerequisites
|
Introduction to the New Testament (2nd part) and a working knowledge of the New Testament Greek

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Oral exam
Active participation in the exercises, a written interpretation of at least four verses of a text from a New Testament letter. During the examination students should prove their ability to interpret selected texts of the New Testament letters or their parts.
