Learning outcomes
|
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to describe methods of biblical exegesis, especially the individual steps of the historical-critical method, and will be able to interpret various texts from the New Testament Gospels.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to interpret selected texts from the New Testament Gospels.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of the issues discussed in the introductions to the New Testament.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
To receive credit, students must prepare a written interpretation of a text of their choice from the New Testament Gospels. The course concludes with an oral exam.
