1. acquaintance with relevant auxiliary literature (the critical edition of NT; subsidies: dictionaries and grammars) 2. exposition of the basic morphology of greek language 3. reading, translation, commentary and discussion of the selected texts of NT

Learning outcomes
|
The focus of the lecture is a study of New testament Greek. Student will learn basic grammatical structure of the Greek language (morphology and syntax) with regard to his/her existing knowledge, and will proceed to independent reading of Greek texts with help of a vocabulary. Text will be selected with regard of student's interest. Student will also get acquainted with existing grammar books and lexicons.
The student will gain the necessary knowledge for independent reading of Greek text of NT.

Prerequisites
|
Prerequisite is a basic knowledge of the New Testament and/or an interest in reading a Greek text of NT.

Dialog
Active approach of the student to teaching and ability to translate easy Greek text with the help of a dictionary
