- Basics of heuristic work - Internet information sources ? databases - Libraries as information sources - Archives as information sources - Lexicons, literary science handbooks - Excerption of material - Particularities of the scholarly functional style - Stylistic genres of scholarly communication - Documentation in literary science - Ethics and production of a scholarly text - Graphical norms and rules - Periodicals of literary science, profiles of selected publishing houses

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to provide the students with basic orientation in the problems of scholarly work with pieces of information and in the methods of production of a text so that the students are prepared for further university education and future specialist work.
