Course content
In lectures, there will be a detailed commentary and illustration of important rules of rhetoric which belong to all of the main components of this discipline: invention, composition, elocution, mnemonics, recitation. A special attention will be paid to specific language rhetorical devices (tropes and figures), non-verbal devices in rhetorical communication, rhetorician typology and characteristics of rhetorical genres.

Students will get acquainted with the basic aspects of rhetoric, its sense and practical application for an effective communication.
