Course content
The course is designed for beginners and will take place in the Center of Intermedia studies (equipped with recording and editing studio). During the lessons the basics of audio technologies (recording, editing and processing) will be presented by means of adequate software tools (especially CoolEdit, SoundForge). Among main topics belong the difference between analogue and digital signal, A/D conversion - sampling and quantization and many others aspects.

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on handling of software tools in the field of modern audio-video technologies, with the focus on sound processing. The course is designed for beginners and will take place in the Center of Intermedia studies (equipped with recording and editing studio). During the lessons the basics of audio technologies (recording, editing and processing) will be presented.
Orientation in the problematic of modern audio-video technologies. During the lessons the basics of audio technologies (recording, editing and processing) will be presented and students will be able to handle a special audio software tool (SoundForge) and use this tool for an effective sound processing.
