Course content
The seminar deals with folow topics: 1. Didactics of Czech as a foreign language 2. Types of teaching 3. Textbooks and other materials for teaching 4. Mediate language (yes or no) 5. Socio-cultural competence etc. 6. Accuracy in speech 7. Fluency in speech 8. Language skills 9. Testing in language teaching

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic literature and with the textbooks of Czech intended for foreigners, with the history of this branch etc. It also shows the differences between teaching Czech as a mother tongue and as a foreign language.
Absolvents of the course are able to distinguish between Czech as a foreign language and Czech for Foreigners. They are able to present the Czech language system, especially pronunciation, flektion and aspect of the verb. They know methodology to create the communicative competence according the Common European Frames for Languages. They know textbooks, aproaches to its evaluation and they are able to self create own teaching materials.
Prerequisites
Passing the subject KBH/UOJ, knowledge of the basic linguistic terms and at least one foreign language.

Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work
