Course content |
The teaching in the course is oriented on the discussion about special problems in the lexical system, on different approaches to the problems and on the controlled founding of solutions. Examples of topics the tasks will be focused on: 1. The evolution of the lexical system and Czech vocabulary. 2. Digital lexicological sources and possibilities of their usage. 3. Functional stratification of the Czech vocabulary, expressivity, registers.

Learning outcomes |
The course is focused on the practicing of theoretical approaches presented in the lecture. The conception of the course accentuates the self solving of concrete tasks and self working with lexical material.
The students are able: to self work with the lexical material; to describe the structure of lexical system; to analyze and to interpret phenomena and relations in the lexical system; to know how to work with lexicographic sources and digital corpora. |
