Spoken and written Czech. Grammatical, lexical, phonetic, ortographical and pragmatic competence.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to build the communicative competence in Czech as a foreign language. The balance of productive and receptive skills will be stressed as well the development of all communicative components, especially linguistic and pragmatic competence.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to communicate in Czech at the A2-B1 level (depending on their prior knowledge). They will be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written Czech.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of English as a mediation language at A2 level. Knowledge of Roman letters.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Essay, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Didactic Test
Active participation in seminar discussions, spoken presentation (5 min.).
