Vocabulary as s system. Word and its structure. Types of lexical meaning. Onomastical categories. Word formation in Czech. Synonyms. Opposites. Homonyms. Polysemantic words. Functional classes in Czech vocabulary.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to build the lexical competence in Czech as a foreign language.Teaching will be focused on paradigms in lexical system.
Students will be able to recognize words including synonyms, antonyms and homonyms. They will be able to actively work with the rules of Czech word formation.
