Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to learn Czech morphology, especially the iflectional morphology. Attention will be paid to parts of speech with inflection and their forms, while their function in the sentence will be observed. The course will also introduce the basic principles of the construction of the Czech word, both in terms of inflectional morphology and word-formation.
Student: - knows the system of nominal and verbal grammatical categories; - knows the system of word classes, distinguishes between parts of speech; - knows the principles of Czech word-formation, can identify basic types of word-forming categories and use them actively

The student has an intermediate level of knowledge of the Czech language.
