Students will learn about language development, with a particular focus on Czech and Proto-Slavic. They will learn to work with historical texts and read various scripts, including Glagolitic, Cyrillic and Latin, in their different orthographic forms. They will also develop an understanding of modern Czech in the context of previous language changes.
