Course content
Various topics related to the level A2-B1 (also some topics from the level B2) will be discussed during the seminar, such as shopping, fashion, traveling, housing and living, health and diseases, family, nature, media etc. and also topics related to culture studies, such as Czech republic, czech national holidays, history etc.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 52 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to build the communicative competence in Czech as a foreign language. The balance of productive and receptive skills will be stressed as well as the development of all communicative components.
After passing the subject, the student is able to communicate in Czech at the level A2-B1. Students have sufficient vocabulary related to the topics discussed during the seminars. Students are able to communicate especially in spoken language.

- activity in a course - regular attendance (80 %) - spoken exam (discussion with an examinator on the chosen topic)
