Course content
|
Except the vocabulary and phrases related to the academic text there will be another topics discussed during the seminar, such as: content and formal structure of the text, methodology of the research, bibliography and references, resume - abstract, the ethical principles of the academic text.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to present the character, principles and structure of the academic text. The vocabulary/phrases typical for this kind of text and stylistics will be stressed as well as the formal components of the academic text.
Students will be able to write a short academic text using appropriate vocabulary and phrases. They will be ready to write their Bachelor Thesis

- participating in seminar - regular attendance (max. 2 absences) - short academic text on a chosen topic in Czech language
