Learning outcomes

1) Characteristics of the functional style, determination of its specifics, standard of academic style and its application in practice. 2) Genres of academic style, spoken and written in professional communication, traditional versus contemporary texts of academic style. 3) Structure and composition of academic texts, function of individual parts of professional work, horizontal and vertical arrangement of communication. Layout of work and project preparation. 4) Composition of a diploma thesis and its structural part. 6) Intertextuality, resource work and secondary literature, citation standard.
Students are able to use Czech language at the level of professional communication.
