Learning outcomes
The course is devoted to the word as the central unit of linguistic description and understanding of its inner structure. Having in the mind the so called Renaissance of morphology, evident in recent decades, the morphology is presented as the study of the internal structure of words, given by the series of morphological processes. Particular attention is paid to the processes which are on the bordur between inflectional morphology and lexical morphology.
Understanding of the basic morphological processes, application to morphological analysis of the text, ability to analyze the word form.

Ability to read foreign scientific texts, knowledge of linguistic terminology
