1. Principles of work in the chemical laboratory, chemical utensils, basic laboratory techniques (weighing, measuring volume, pipetting) 2. Preparation of solutions of the exact composition 3. Centrifugation 4. Conductometry, pH 5. Absorption spectrophotometry 6. Isolation of genomic DNA 7. DNA analysis using agarose gel electrophoresis 8. Preparation of protein extracts and determination of protein concentration in the cell lysate 9. Turbidimetry
