The course aims at explaining the molecular background of tumour tarnsformation. The main attention is paid to explanation of deregulation of signal pathways in malignant cells. Particular topics: oncogenes, tumour supressors and other signal moleculs in tumour transformation, tumour stem cell, cancerogenesis, two-impact model, predispositions to tumours, role of the chromatin changes in tumour development. Apoptosis of the tumour cell. Molecular mechanisms of the effect of classical and direkt-antitumour treatments. Molecular background of the resistence of tumour cells to cytostatics.
