Course content
A holistic point of view on the education of teachers at secondary medical school, while focusing on the mental health of teachers; teacher's self-discovery, self-concept, self-reflection, and self-development; Effective promotion of teacher's resilience and mental balance; examples of teacher's personal psychosocial development techniques; Creativity in teacher's work; Teacher's emotional intelligence; Communication in difficult and problematic situations; Development of professional competences as means of mental health and burnout syndrome prevention (e.g., Balint groups in teacher's work, seminars of case interpretation, supervision, Video Home Training, mentoring, etc.)

Learning outcomes
After passing the course, students should be able to: - Explain the importance of teacher's mental hygiene; - Use the techniques of personal psychosocial development; - Be creative during the lessons; - Express their feelings; - Find ways how to solve difficult and problematic situations; - Understand the techniques of burnout syndrome prevention; - Improve their communication, relationships and increase their professional competence.
After passing the course, a student acquires the competence to: Know how to act in stressful situations concerning teacher's profession as same as everyday life and know the chosen techniques for coping with these situations.

Basic knowledge of problematics of stress in today's society

Oral exam, Written exam, Seminar Work
