Course content |
Differences in results reliability of particular types of research design and their importance for health education. The basic specifics of research designs in quantitative and qualitative research and in systematic reviews with the focus on their usage in health education. Specifics of literary (narrative) reviews and the difference between literary and systematic reviews. The concept of usage of the scientific evidence in health education and health support while creating global and regional WHO documents.

Learning outcomes |
After passing this course students should be able to: - Understand the degree of reliability of the research results in context of health education according to the hierarchy of scientific evidence - Characterize the degree of reliability of the results of the basic types of primary research with quantitative approach - Specify the degree of reliability of primary qualitative studies - clarify the basic characteristics of systematic reviews for health education - demonstrate the importance of systematic reviews for the transfer of contemporary scientific findings in health education and for health support

Student performance
Students will prepare and present an overview of information on the topic given. Requirements for students with an Individual Study Plan (ISP): same conditions + participation in a combined course of study. |
