Course content
Legislation and official policy documents for secondary vocational education. A labour code. A school documentation. An educational program of taught subject. A pedagogigical diagnostics of pupils. The learning objectives and the learning tasks. An evaluation of textbooks. Students self-reflection in context of Continuous Practice 1 and Continous Practice 2. The organisational formo f this course will be a repetitorium, where students will meet a lectors of subject of school didactic. During a final state examination from Teaching Competence, student must submit a completed portfolio from Teaching Practice 1 and Teaching Practice 2.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Observation, Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After finishing this course, students should be able to: - Use knowledge from the area of: didactic, pedagogical diagnostics, psychology and other subjects according to the problematic - Work with pedagogical documentation in context of preparation of own teaching - Determine a teaching strategy and propose appropriate methods and techniques - Know the students personality, including their possible educational problems and propose further measures regarding to the educational situation - Know an obligations of tutor - Evaluate pupils results - Use textbook and others teaching aids in teaching - Propose a project to implement the chosen cross-cutting theme - Reflect the results of our own realized outcomes - Analyze and evaluate a lesson observation based on use a record sheet - Realize a taxation of learning objective and learning task based on lesson observation Make a portfolio by according to the requirements of teacher. - Synthesize knowledge from subjects included in modul teaching competence and experience from completed pedagogical practice. - Verify a connection between theoretical knowledge (from the field of pedagogical and psychological disciplines) and subjects didactics based on own experiences from pedagogical practice - Describe and reflect own experience from pedagogical practice based on lesson observation and own output - Compare of own views about profession with reality of educational practice, experiences and pedagogical opinions. - Evaluate a pupils behavior and a solution of possible educational problems - Set out, explain and evaluate observed phenomena in educational practice - To cary out a self-reflection in context of Continuous Practice 1 - Assess the importance significance of pedagogical practice for forming the foundations of our own pedagogical competencies
Through a practical outputs and Educational practice at secondary nursing schools, students will gain the required didactic competence.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites: Completed courses: Didactics of Somatology 1, Didactics of Nursing and Practical Training in Health Education 1 and Health promotion in curriculum and Health education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Visitation

To grant a credit: - Students will be acquainted with school documentation and students will also create an analysis of School Educational Programme related to chosen secondary school, where educational practise will be realized. An analysis of School Educational Programme will be a part of portfolio. - Students will realize a lesson observation and lesson performance, during the Continous Pedagogical Practice. Student must attend lesson observation and lesson performance in following subjects: Somalogy and subjects focused on nursing and health prevention. During educational practice, student fulfil a tasks from his/ her teaching practice supervisor. For example: organize and create a homeworks for pupils, prepare a lesson planning for pupils evaluation. Its also expected that student will attend all events, organized by school, including pedagogical meeting and pedagogical supervision, etc. During educational practice student must create own portfolio, where all informations about educational practice, will be substantiated. Portfolio should include for example: informations about educational training progress, fulfilment of tasks and evaluation from teaching practice supervisor. - After returning from Teaching Practice, students will discuss about whole educational practice, especially about the specific situation from lesson observation and lesson performance. A preparation for students lesson performance will be also included in portfolio. The credit will be awarded on the basis of a practice statement, the portfolio and evaluation from teaching practice supervisor. A part of the credit is reflection from the Continous Pedagogical Practice.
