Course content
Lectures: Anatomy and physiology of organs in the individual organ systems - urinary system, gastrointestinal tract, circulatory system, reproductive system, nervous system, integumentary and endocrine system, sensory nervous system. Genetics. Tutorials: Anatomy and physiology of organs in the individual organ systems - urinary system, gastrointestinal tract, circulatory system, reproductive system, nervous system, integumentary and endocrine system, sensory nervous system. Genetics.

Learning outcomes
During studies, the courses of Somatology 1 and 2 are the essential disciplines. Considering the course of Somatology 2, following objectives are set: - Name and describe the organ systems of a human body, - Explain the function principles of the organs and the systems, - Characterize genetics as a field of study, - Explain the basic terminology and links in genetics.
After passing this course, student acquires the necessary knowledge for the following study of biological-medical courses.
Prerequisites
High school (secondary school) knowledge in human biology

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam

- 2 absences during the whole semester are allowed. (90% attendance) - Active participation in the tutorials
