After completing the course, students should be able to: - analyze the curricular document - Framework Educational Program for Basic Education (RVP ZV) with an emphasis on anchoring the issue of health education with horizontal overlap, i.e. the educational area Man and His World, Man and Health, the educational field Health Education, cross-cutting topics, - justify the importance of education in the field of health education within compulsory education with an emphasis on the 2nd grade. elementary school and describe the mission of the educational area of People and Health and the educational field of Health Education, - interpret and explain in your own words the expected outcomes of the educational field of Health Education in individual versions of the RVP ZV (2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2021) including their innovations in individual versions of the RVP ZV, - analyze the curriculum, thematic areas and subtopics of the curriculum of the educational field of Health Education in individual versions of the RVP ZV, - assess the time allocation allocated to the educational field of Health Education towards the mission and goals of the VZ, the formulated expected outcomes and the wide-ranging offer of the curriculum, - justify the significance of the document Standards for Basic Education - Health Education for the needs of the educational reality of lower secondary education, characterize the individual components of the document, especially the indicators and illustrative tasks contained in it, - specify the mission of the document Methodological comments and tasks for standards for primary education - Health Education for the educational reality of lower secondary education, characterize the basic attributes of the document (especially the specifics of individual expected outcomes of the VZ and thematic areas, illustrative tasks at three levels of difficulty and commented solutions to illustrative tasks); - analyze selected School educational programs of primary schools or multi-year grammar schools with regard to the implementation of the educational field of Health Education - summarize key curriculum research within the project and implementation level of the curriculum of the educational field of Health Education.
After completing the course, students are able to analyze strategic and implementation documents under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports within the framework of the Strategy of the Educational Policy of the Czech Republic until 2030 with a focus on anchoring the issue of health education. Students are familiar with long-term plans and strategies of education in the Czech Republic, and are able to describe the implementation of the health education curriculum at individual levels of the Czech educational system.

| Assessment methods and criteria |

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work, Written exam
Each student will prepare a set of seminar papers for the SFE Portfolio on assigned subject topics, which they will submit by the dates specified in STAG, at least a week before the credit week. The exam will be awarded based on the completed, above-mentioned tasks and the preparation of the didactic / written test. Recommended attendance at lectures, min. 50% attendance at seminars. Student requirements Preparation of an ongoing, partial written test on a previously announced date. Prepare 5 partial tasks as part of the Portfolio submitted for the SFE sub-area Didactics of Health Education and also as a basis for discussion in seminars from the subject PBK1@ (and submit them to STAG in the Semester Papers section). Each ongoing task must be prepared in the scope of min. 2-3 NS. The content of the specific tasks will be: 1) Ongoing task: Elaboration of the basic concept of Strategic Line 1: Transformation of the content, methods and evaluation of education in the document STRATEGY OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC UNTIL 2030+ and its comparison with the previous document STRATEGY OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC UNTIL 2020. Further ongoing tasks 2 - 4: will include an analysis of selected schools, or rather their SEP with the implementation of the educational field of Health Education from the REP ZV from 2021 and the newly valid document with major revisions from 2025 in selected schools. The number of analyzed schools is set at 4: 2) Ongoing task: Classical elementary school. 3) Ongoing task: Alternative elementary school. 4) Ongoing task: Lower grammar school. Within the analysis of each SEP, focus on the following points: Implementation of the educational area: Man and Health in the educational field: Health Education from the RVP ZV to the SEP of selected schools. a) In the general part of the selected SEP for the 1st and 2nd grades of elementary schools. b) In individual grades of the implemented educational area. c) Interdisciplinary - within the framework of inter-subject relationships. 5) Ongoing task: Processing the horizontal overlap of the selected health education topic - across the curriculum document RVP ZV in the following structure: a) Anchoring the topic in the expected outcomes of the educational field Health Education in the current version of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education; b) Anchoring the topic in the curriculum of the educational field Health Education in the current version of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education; c) Linkage of the selected topic to the outcomes of the 1st grade; d) Overlap of the selected topic with cross-cutting topics within the 2nd grade of primary school; e) Cross-curricular relationships to the selected topic; f) Anchoring of the selected topic of the VZ in the document Standards for Basic Education - Health Education; g) Anchoring of the selected topic in the document Methodological comments and tasks for the standards for basic education - Health Education. Requirements for students during the ERASMUS+ study stay: 1) As a substitute for participation in direct teaching: preparation of a semester work on a given topic related to its specifics in the visited country and university and its entry into STAG, in the "Semester work" section under the subject abbreviation KAZ/ PBK1@ on the dates set at the beginning of the semester. The scope of the work and its structure will be specified at the beginning of the semester via e-mail communication using the student's generated e-mail address in the UP Portal. 2) Completion of the subject will take place after the student returns from the study. |
