Course content
Traffic education through selected education categories. The issue of traffic education. Act No. 361/2000 Coll. Traffic Accidents and Their Causes. Age idiosyncrasies in children. Paradigm of the behaviour of traffic participants. Causes of improper conduct and behaviour by traffic participants. Didactics of traffic education for teachers. Division of traffic education by grades. Technical conditions of safe traffic. An assumption of safe behaviour on roads. Organization of traffic education in primary schools / kindergartens. Organization of traffic educational events.

Learning outcomes
The task is to provide students with a set of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are important to traffic participants. Students will become acquainted with the most frequent causes and consequences of traffic accidents. They will learn about the most common types of traffic accidents and how to prevent them. They will become acquainted with Act no. 361/2000 Coll. on Road Traffic.
After completing the course, students should be able to: Define the concept of traffic education, Formulate traffic safety and the concept of "safe traffic", Characterize the general problems of transport organization, Apply the didactic principles of traffic education for teachers, Specify types of traffic accidents and know their causes, Take into account the educational-psychological idiosyncrasies of children and adolescents in traffic education, Demonstrate knowledge of Act no. 361/2000 Coll. on Road Traffic, Use the tools for reducing traffic accidents and introduce accident prevention.
