Course content

The basic terminology of: learning; a communication during educational process; an educational standards; a personality of educator; a basic principles of education in medical facilities; educational goals; educational methods; educational plan; realisation of educational process; an evaluation of education; resources for patient´s education; a main e-learning strategies during patient´s education; a main specification of education; an educational programs in the community.

Learning outcomes
|
After finishing this subject, students should be able to: - Describe an educational standards and its main principles - Formulate an educational goals - Apply methods of education in practice - Use a material didactic resources during education - Prepare en educational plan - Evaluate an educational process.
After finishing this course, students will have an adequate knowledge and abilities indispensable for patients´s educational activities.

This subject is prepared for students of study program "Teaching of vocational subjects for secondary nursing schools".

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Seminar Work
A fulfilment of conditions, will be specificed by teacher at the beginning of semester. A word processing of seminar work into chosen topic. An approximate range of this semestral work is at least 5 pages, size of A4). In this semestral work, student must use a citation standards by ISO 690. Furthermore students must insert semestral work into the Portal UP (portal.upol.cz), In the section of "My study" - "Semestral work". The semestral work will be automatically control by plagiarism checker system.
