Course content |
Differences in results reliability of particular types of research design and their importance for health education. The basic specifics of research designs in quantitative and qualitative research and in systematic reviews with the focus on their usage in health education. Specifics of literary (narrative) reviews and the difference between literary and systematic reviews. The concept of usage of the scientific evidence in health education and health support while creating global and regional WHO documents.

Learning outcomes |
After passing this course students should be able to: -understand the strength of the results of primary and secondary research according to the hierarchy of scientific evidence - identify types of literary sources - clarify the basic characteristics of systematic reviews and EBP methodologies with implementation for health education - interpret the importance of systematic reviews for the transfer of current scientific knowledge in health education and health promotion.
After passing this course students will have acquired the topics according to the course objectives. |
