Course content
Thematic blocks: 1. The importance of psychomotor skills from a physiological, emotional, and cognitive perspective. 2. Awareness of one's own body - understanding the functions of body parts, controlling the body, experiencing emotions and feelings, and expressing them through movement. Self-awareness. Self-improvement. 3. Material aspect - introduction to objects, traditional and non-traditional tools, acquiring, mastering, and using them. 4. Understanding the social environment and people. Establishing contact through touch, cooperation, and communication. Cooperation and helping others. Subtopics: 1. Understanding body size. 2. Understanding tension and relaxation. 3. Perceiving body stability and instability. 4. Perceiving the body and space. 5. Perceiving emotions and feelings and expressing them. 6. Material aspect. 7. Social aspect. 8. Motor diagnostics.

Lecture, Observation, Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide practical knowledge in the use of play tools for working with children and young people in the field of psychomotor activities and games. Students will acquire a repertoire of activities suitable for developing and addressing potential deficits in sociomotor, sensorimotor, fine, and gross motor skills
