Learning outcomes
|
To acquire a broader range of skills for working with children and adults with different disabilities in the context of alpine skiing and the fundamentals of snowboarding.
Upon completing the course, students will be able to: plan and deliver a skiing course for pupils, including pupils with special educational needs (in conjunction with the follow-up course); teach alpine skiing using appropriate didactic and pedagogical approaches; teach, or at least assist in teaching, the fundamentals of snowboarding; understand the specific requirements for organising and delivering a course for people with disabilities (in conjunction with the follow-up course).

Prerequisites
|
Basic alpine skiing skills are required.
|

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Didactic Test, Seminar Work
Active participation in the course and successful completion of the required practical skills. Follow-up course: active participation in teaching children and adults with disabilities.
