Course content
Physical Activity as a Prerequisite for the Health of People with Special Needs Strategic Plans and Other Documents Supporting Physical Activity, with an Emphasis on Para Sport, Inclusive Physical Education, and Leisure Activities for All Societal Barriers, Building Accessibility, and Limitations of the Natural Environment Adapted Physical Activity as Part of Everyday Life Practical Training in Adapted Physical Activity Planning and Delivering Adapted Physical Activity in Practice Inclusion in Physical Education and Leisure Activities Para Sport and Inclusion in Sport Specific Aspects of Accessibility in Sports and Leisure Facilities and Spaces for Physical Activity Professional Qualifications and Competences for Working with People with Special Needs

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop students' knowledge, skills and competences in the field of adapted physical activity in leisure settings. Students will gain an understanding of the specific factors that influence the lifestyles of people with a range of special needs. PROBLEM SOLVING: DEFINE PROBLEM Demonstrates a limited ability in identifying a problem statement or related contextual factors. Begins to demonstrate the ability to construct a problem statement with evidence of most relevant contextual factors, but problem statement is superficial. Demonstrates the ability to construct a problem statement with evidence of most relevant contextual factors, and problem statement is adequately detailed. Demonstrates the ability to construct a clear and insightful problem statement with evidence of all relevant contextual factors. INTEGRATIVE LEARNING: TRANSFER Uses, in a basic way, skills, abilities, theories, or methodologies gained in one situation in a new situation. Uses skills, abilities, theories, or methodologies gained in one situation in a new situation to contribute to understanding of problems or issues Adapts and applies skills, abilities, theories, or methodologies gained in one situation to new situations to solve problems or explore issues. The course graduate accepts diversity in society as a norm (common phenomenon). He is able to find, contact and adequately communicate with people with disabilities, analyze factors influencing their lifestyle, evaluate them and create innovative recommendations adapted individually to improve the conditions of people in need of counseling assistance for their health and happiness as a prerequisite for a higher quality of life.
Prerequisites
The ability to acquire new knowledge, compare it with existing knowledge, draw independent conclusions, and formulate one's own opinions appropriately, supported by sound arguments.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

Students will work on project, which they will present in the form of an oral group colloquium. The colloquium will be organized for 4-5 students. The teacher will moderate the colloquium. Feedback is provided by classmates and the teacher. The evaluation is then the sum of the points for completing the tasks.
