Course content
The Specialization 4 course includes a theoretical summary of training methods in swimming by means of lectures.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Excursion - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 50 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to continue in the content of the KAS/SPPL1 and KAS SPPL/2 courses and enrich practical experience with theoretical knowledge in the area of swimming training. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
- The student has extended theoretical knowledge about swimming and swimming sports, - The student knows training methods suitable for increasing swimming performance, - The student is able to describe basic training methods used in swimming training, - The student is knowledgeable about periodization of swimming training, - The student is able to select suitable aids for swimming training, - The student is able to participate in preparing and organizing a swimming competition.
Prerequisites
Credit obtained in the KAS/SPPL2 course, Completion of 80% of the content of the KAS/SPPL3 course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

- Active participation in classes, - Seminar paper, - Participation in a competition in the capacity of a referee, - Preparation of a swimming competition.
