- Equipment for cycling courses. - Equipment for rafting courses. - Equipment for mountain hiking courses. - Basic information about mountaineering gear. - Equipment for skiing courses (downhill, cross-country, ski mountaineering) and winter sojourn courses. - Equipment for gymnasiums and gymnastic (mirror) halls. - Equipment for fitness centres and outdoor fields. - Basic information about diving gear. - Material provisions for various types of physical activity (balls, nets, etc.) - Differences in the requirements of various sports disciplines for athlete's (pupil's) gear.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to present to the students information about modern technologies and materials in winter and summer course equipment. The students learn about possible equipment of gymnasiums and other sports venues to match current PE requirements. A basic database of sports firms, shops and warehouses is developed. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
The student is knowledgeable about material requirements for PE teaching and winter and summer sojourn courses. The student is able to propose basic material provision required for summer and winter courses focusing on a particular activity (sport). The student is able to describe the required equipment of a gymnasium (sports venue) meeting current trends.
