Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to teach students how to translate sports performance demands and diagnostic results into a specific and systematically structured strength and conditioning programme. Students learn to establish training priorities, select appropriate methods and training means, manage fundamental training variables, and design training sessions, microcycles, and short-term training blocks within the context of sport-specific preparation.
Students are able to define training priorities, select appropriate training methods, manipulate training variables, design sessions and microcycles, develop a short-term training programme and progression, integrate S&C with sport-specific training, evaluate programme effectiveness, and connect training goals with an appropriate nutritional strategy.
