Course content
Strengthening of various muscle groups - shoulders, arms, back, abdomen, chest, thighs, buttocks and shins.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Training in job and motor Skils
  • Semestral Work - 12 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 6 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the following: - Basic terminology and concepts, - Objectives and variables of fitness workout, - Effects of fitness workout on the human body, - General workout principles, - Selection of fitness centre, - Safety aspects of fitness workout, - Basic exercises, - Training systems. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
The student is knowledgeable about the rules of safe teaching in a fitness centre, knows correct procedures of loading various muscle groups.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of anatomy (KPK/ANF, KPK /KANF).
