Course content
Assessment of unconsciousness, BLS. Massive bleeding. Non-traumatic conditions - MI, stroke, DM, seizures, hyperventilation, anaphylaxis, asthma attack, intoxication. Severe injuries of head, chest, abdomen (incl. pelvis), limbs, spine. Drowning, physical causes of damage (electric current), thermal injuries (hypothermia, frostbite, heatstroke, heat stroke, burns), chemical burns. First Aid in children. Car accident, motorcycle accident, first aid kit. Model situations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Students will learn about the latest recomendations and principles of First Aid. They will practice the skills obtained in the subject of First Aid. They will actively participate in various model situations of traumatic and non-traumatic conditions.
Detection of unconsciousness and cardiac arrest. BLS. Use of AED. Diagnosis and first aid in emergency traumatic conditions - hemostasis, fixation of fractures, fixation of the spine, deployment of the neck collar, treatment of open pneumothorax, removal of the helmet, Rautek's maneuver, use of a first aid kit, incl. diagnosis and treatment of burns, frostbite, burns. First aid for sunburn. Diagnosis and first aid of non-traumatic emergencies. All of the above for adults and children.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the course First Aid. Completed e-learning on Moodle.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Systematic Observation of Student

100% attendance. Theoretical knowledge and practical completion of ongoing model situations. Passing the final model situation.
