Cohesion and coherence. Cohesive devices. Informativity of the text. Intertextuality. Highlighting structures.

Learning outcomes
Students will learn about the basic features of texts, i.e. cohesion, coherence, informativity, intertextuality, and highlighting structures. In seminars students will apply the theoretical knowledge on the practical analysis of stylistically different English texts.
