After completing the course, students will be able to: - understand trends and movements in contemporary Anglophone literature, - orient themselves in selected genres in contemporary Anglophone literature for children and young adults, - based on their own reading, know key texts and choose texts suitable for use in teaching, - have basic knowledge of selected areas of postmodern thinking and aesthetics, - to orient themselves in the genre diversity of contemporary Anglophone literature.
