Course content
Development of children's literature Reading literacy Selection of adequate texts and their use in ELT at primary school Lesson plan based on a story, the use of a fairy-tale to practice grammatical structures Presentation of stories via role-play The development of fairy-tales and their features, interpretation of fairy tales Poetry for children and its use in ELT at primary school Picture books and comics

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be: familiar with the field of children's literature able to choose adequate texts for ELT at primary school able to didactically employ texts of various genres in ELT at primary school able to develop pupils' reading literacy via working with literary texts in ELT at primary school able to use role play in ELT at primary school
