Contemporary anglophone literature: trends and characteristics Postmodern aesthetics Multiculturalism in anglophone literature Introduction to literature for children and young adults Overview of contemporary literature for children and young adults Genres in contemporary literature for children and young adults

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to: - understand trends and movements in contemporary Anglophone literature, - orient themselves in selected genres in contemporary Anglophone literature for children and young adults, - based on their own reading, know key texts and choose texts suitable for use in teaching, - have basic knowledge of selected areas of postmodern thinking and aesthetics, - to orient themselves in the genre diversity of contemporary Anglophone literature.
