- factors influencing reading efficiency - reading strategies - text types - choosing appropriate reading strategies for various types of text - effective reading practise

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the students will be able: - to explain factors influencing the efficiency of reading, - characterise various reading strategies, - characterise various types of text, - choose an appropriate reading strategy based on the type of text and their current needs.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

50% attendance, active participation in lessons, timely completion of homework set by the teacher. Requirements for students with ISP: - students must complete all tasks set by the teacher during and at the end of the semester - attendance is not compulsory - at the end of the semester, students will be interviewed by the teacher to demonstrate that they independently acquired all the course content dealt with in the lessons
