Learning outcomes
|
The final term of the language practice course aims to upgrade students' command of the English language and their communicative competence so that they are able to pass the final language exam at the C2.1 level. Students broaden the range of their vocabulary and improve their grammatical accuracy and control. All four language skills are developed, but the main emphasis is put on developing their reading and writing skills.

Assessment methods and criteria

Mark, Written exam, Essay, Student performance, Didactic Test
- 70% attendance - active participation in the lessons - fulfill all homework assignments (long and short tasks) - oral and written - hand in 1-2 pieces of writing - pass a credit test - reach at least 70% in each of the four parts (listening, reading, English in use, grammar and vocabulary) - pass each of the four exam parts: listening, English in use, reading, writing - the passing line for all tests and exam parts is 70%
