Course content
Canadian Literature in English Australian and New Zealand Literature African Literatures in English Indian Literature in English Reflection of feminism and multiculturalism in the literary production of the Commonwealth of Nations Image of historical events in the literature of the Commonwealth of Nations Laureates of the Nobel Prize for Literature from member countries of the Commonwealth of Nations

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to: " orient themselves in the literary production of the Commonwealth of Nations, " name and characterize major authors of individual member countries of the Commonwealth of Nations, " expand their knowledge about the history and realia of member countries of the Commonwealth of Nations on the basis of independent reading, "interpret texts within the context of author's life, historical background and contemporary perspective, " summarize the thematic areas for the teaching of which a selected literary text can be used within the ELT lessons, and the language knowledge and skills that this teaching will develop.
