Course content
Test construction - validity, reliability, practicality. Types and forms of assessment. Communicative testing. Testing language skills. Testing language systems. Designing, piloting and analysing a language test.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to: - define basic terms connected to assessment and testing of learners, - explain the principles of communicative testing, - name and characterise different types of tests and their function, - analyse the appropriateness of test with respect to the target learners, - analyse the quality of tests created by the authors of textbooks, - create, assess and analyse their own tests.
