Course content
Methods and approaches in English language teaching. Coursebook evaluation. Types of syllabuses.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: - demonstrate their knowledge of the theoretical principles of methods and approaches to teaching foreign languages, - analyze and evaluate the principles of the methods for use in teaching English at primary and lower secondary schools, - evaluate teaching and learning materials, - characterize different types of syllabuses.
